Chase

The Chase is a quality chicken coop and run, suitable for up to 10 standard sized chickens or 14 bantam sized. It forms part of our small chicken coop range but has a sizeable walk in run area. It has a raised hen house area which is roofed in corrugated onduline and an integral run which is roofed in corrugated Perspex. This keeps the run area dry whilst allowing plenty of light in.

This portable chicken coop has carrying handles running throughout the building so you can move it and they also double up as day time perches for the chickens. These are especially useful when it is raining and the hens want to sit on the perches outside.The back panel of the building can be boarded in for some extra shelter for the chickens if required. The carrying handles slide out if space is limited (the carrying handles are 150" or 3.81m long on the standard size)

The standard size of the bottom of the run area is 8'4" (2.54m) x 4' (1.22m). The Chase can be manufactured with an additional 3' extension on the run if more space is required. This would make the run area 11'4" (3.45m) x 4' (1.22m).

There are 3 nest boxes in the Chase, they are each approx. 12" square. The roof of the nest box is made out of a product called stockboard, so there is no felt for red mite to live under. Please note the nest boxes add 14" to the overall length of the building.

Above the door of the house area there is an opening covered in weldmesh for ventilation. Ventilation is extremely important in chicken houses for good chicken health.

There are 4 perches in the Chase each 38" (96cm) long, these run from side to side above the nest boxes and they are removable.

The chicken house is really easy to clean out with a pull out floor.

The Chase chicken house is delivered by our team in flat sections for customer assembly. We pre-drill most of the holes to make it easy for you to put together and all the fixings are supplied with instructions. We do not hold a stock of our chicken coops as they are all handmade to order. Therefore there is a delay between order and delivery which varies depending on the time of year. Because our chicken houses are custom made to order we are more than happy to discuss bespoke alterations with you.
