This high quality wooden duck house is suitable for ducks or geese. The Lodge size 1 is our smallest standard sized duck house; it is 4' x 3' x 4' high (1.2m x 0.9m x 1.2m). It is built of wooden skids to lift it off the ground for ventilation and protection from wet conditions. Please note the skids and the roof make the duck hut stand a little higher than 4'. The Lodge duck and goose house has a solid wooden floor made with really strong timbers, this is bolted to the wooden skids. On the front of the duck hut there is a stable door. The top and bottom door can be opened independently so that you can have one door open whilst the other is closed. Most customers use the bottom door to let the ducks or geese in and out of the duck house, however we can build the duck house with a wooden pop hole on the side to let the ducks or geese in and out of the hut.
There is also a ventilation window on the front of the duck and goose house as standard, this can be fully closed or partially closed with the use of a chain. The wooden hut is roofed with black corrugated onduline.
The Lodge duck and goose house can be used as a stand alone house without a run, or we also offer a 12' optional run that could be used on the side of the duck coop. As we custom build our animal housing we also offer wheels as a standard option to make mobile duck and goose houses

We recommend the Lodge size 1 duck and goose house for a maximum of 7 ducks, depending on size, and 2-3 geese. We build this duck and goose house in the same design but in larger sizes, please see the links below.
This duck hut is delivered by our team in flat sections for customer assembly. We pre-drill most of the holes to make it easy for you to put together and all the fixings are supplied with instructions. We do not hold a stock of our duck and goose coops as they are all handmade to order. Therefore there is a delay between order and delivery which varies depending on the time of year.
